Loretta’s Only or L.O. for short, is an inspiring independent rap artist, from the Tallahassee/ Monticello, Florida area. He first took an interest in pursuing a career in hip hop when he was about 15 years old, at that age he begin writing his own rhymes. After losing his biological mother at the age of 18 to cancer, he decided to take on the stage name Loretta’s Only by using his mother’s first name and the word only meaning he was her only child. Currently, he is preparing for his debut mixtape, “The Appetizer” that will be out this summer. Previously, he has made an appearance on #2B2P mixtape Str8. Fire Vol. 2 with the song “Hat to The Back” that is also appears on “The Appetizer.”

Aside from rapping he is also a freelance writer that writes for blogs, his work can be seen on the website www.getrichrapping.com. Loretta’s Only is aware of that in today’s music industry you have to be more than just a rapper. He decided to use his passion for writing as means to get more exposure and to help others. His vision is to promote personal growth and to motivate those who are afraid to follow their dreams through his movement. Loretta’s Only hopes to spread more positive energy with his music and his writing because he is aware that hip hop has gone astray from it’s original roots. He is on a mission to bring some originality back into the game, which is currently lacking in today’s hip hop music.

Some of his influences are 2pac, Biggie, DMX, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Outkast, G-Unit, Ludacris, T.I., Eminem, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Hopsin to name a few. One thing is for sure, Loretta’s Only is a force to be reckoned with and he will not be stopped until he reaches the top. Quit is certainly not in his vocabulary and neither should it be in yours either. Lend me your ears and your eyes for a minute and recognize greatness in the making.
